Meet Sjöfn, the Norse goddess of love and passion.

Built by Rafnar with a level of affection, worthy of her name. Today is the day we entrust Sjöfn to the incredible team at Ársæll. Unlike so many Rafnar boats before her, she will not be going off to far and distant lands; she will stay close to home. Joining a SAR-team located just around the corner, a group of seafarers who we know are eager to meet her. Sjöfn was made for the task at hand and she will do her part no matter what the North-Atlantic throws at her, so from our whole team;

Congratulations Ársæll and Sjöfn, take good care of each other!

We also want to use this opportunity and encourage people to join their local SAR-teams. Iceland has a long history of active participation and many of the people that work at Rafnar are current or former members. That is why every SAR boat is extra special to us and why we know that Sjöfn will do her job.
